Captured in March 2024, the image reflects the raw determination of a grassroots movement forging fighters from farmers, students, and sons. At the center stands a lone female commander—stoic, composed, and emblematic of the evolving face of Myanmar’s rebellion. Her presence reinforces that leadership, like resistance itself, knows no gender.
